With two gas tanks
What makes it different than the regular model is its two gas tanks which can carry up to 15.3 lbs (7 kg) of compressed natural gas (CNG) at a maximum pressure of 200 bar. These are manufactured from carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) and when full they each weigh 59.5 lbs (27 kg).
Power comes from a normal 1.4-liter TFSI engine with 110 HP (81 kW) and 147 lb-ft (200 Nm) of torque. The five-door hatchback can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 11 seconds and a top speed of 118 mph (190 km/h), regardless if it runs on gasoline or CNG.
When running on CNG, Audi says the car consumes 3.5 kg / 100 km and provides a range of about 242 miles (400 km). If gasoline is used, the range stands at 559 miles (900 km), while using both types of fuels you get an impressive 807.7-mile (1,300 km) range.
