In response to increasingly stringent CO2 emissions regulation, European car-makers seem to have taken note of the potential that this relatively green fuel holds. India had seen its potential years ago. Not so much for its emission benefits, but because of its cost effectivity both to produce and use. The Audi A3 g-tron is based on the five-door A3 Sportback which has not made its way to India yet. Powering the G-tron is a 1.4-litre, four cylinder petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 110 hp while peak torque comes in at 200 Nm. This is essentially the same deal as a factory fit CNG kit.
